Lots of brands are organizing events and pop-up stores to coincide with the London Olympics. Near the new Opening Ceremony store, the first in Europe, Chanel have inaugurated a beauty boutique in Covent Garden.

Make-up artists, manicurists, stylists and actors will come together for special events in the boutique between now and the end of the year. During the inauguration of the store, four London taxis were parked at the door, painted in the colors of Chanel's nail varnishes: Rebelle and Holiday red, Chance pink and Blue Boy blue. Passers-by were also captivated by a performance, in tribute to the area's iconic mimes and living statues, which featured a sign 'No donations please'.
