Following the collection they created with designer Yigal Azruel, K-Swiss are looking for more links with the fashion world to revamp their brand image.
Ed Westwick, famous for his role as Chuck Bass in the tv series Gossip Girl, is the new face of the K-Swiss brand for the SS09 season. Chuck's role has catapulted him to success in much the same way the Carrie role in Sex and the City did for Sarah Jessica Parker - his character's styles have made him an icon of male fashion. Today, we're bringing you the first preview of the ad campaign: judging by the photos, K-Swiss have definitely brought out Chuck's character in Ed, in his attitude, acting, etc...
It's been 40 years since K-Swiss presented their sneakers at Wimbledon, and now they mix their sportswear heritage with a casual look, which they hope to market with Ed Westwick's image. The collection is Pure Classics, and the photos were taken by Cory Schwartz.
