12/29/08 - Paul Smith has created a series of t-shirts inspired by Shakespearean classics. The t-shirts feature interesting illustrations reinterpreting various characters: Yorick, Mercutio and Oberon.

Paul Smith has prepared an exclusive t-shirt collection which is sure to fascinate his Japanese fans, who really love the British designer's exclusive collections.

This time, his collection pays tribute to Shakespeare's work. The Paul Smith design team have created three t-shirts, each with an illustration of a character from the pen of the venerated English writer.

The characters are Oberon from A Midsummer Night's Dream, Yorick from Hamlet and Mercutio from Romeo and Juliet. The t-shirts come in a cotton bag featuring the illustrations, and they'll go on sale in February 2009.
