05/12/09 - When Lucas Ossendrijver and Alber Elbaz received an invitation to the launch party for the new issue of Acne Paper, nobody knew that the long-awaited party in the Ritz would be the setting for the Lanvin Fall Winter 09/10 ad campaign.

Lucas Ossendrijver and Alber Elbaz are original designers who bring a distinctive attitude to their collections and ad campaigns. Their fall winter 09/10 campaign ended up turning into a party... Or was it the other way around?

It looks like Acne and Lanvin are set to collaborate on another collection, and they've established a firm friendship too. So much so, that when Acne invited the Lanvin team to their launch party for the summer issue of Acne Paper, Lucas and Alber decided to make the party the setting for their next campaign.

The party was held in the Ritz in Paris, where the glamour of the setting blended nicely with the unique, fun burlesque-style performers. Lanvin collaborated with a wide range of male models, with prestigious photographer Andreas Larsson, and with the party guests, who included Erin O´Connor, Julie Verhoeven and Martine Sitbon.

The party went on til three in the morning - we can't wait to see the result of this elegant, improvised photo-shoot. Oh, and the collection is simply exquisite.
