In the late eighties, Issey Miyake experimented with new ways of pleating garments to make them more flexible and free-flowing, and invented the new technique of pleating. His garments were so famous, they led to the creation of a brand called Pleats Please.
The collection was brought to Japan, New York, Paris and London, and today it's as original as ever. Here's one of the latest Issey Miyake campaigns promoting online sales in their website.
Their online store only distributes in Japan. The agency Taku Satoh made this fun campaign which plays on the idea of the clothes being delivered like sushi... It's deliciously stylish.
