Last season, John Varvatos walked the streets of London with Franz Ferdinand to bring us the brand's creations. This season he's going for a classic rock & roll theme, which is why he chose ZZ Top to star in his FW09 campaign.

Danny Clinch, a regular collaborator with Varvatos, is responsible for the amazing photos. This one shows the ZZ Top trio in front of a diorama of North American buffalos in L.A.'s Natural History Museum - a clear reference to the Texas group.

Billy, Dusty Hill and Frank are still together after 40 long years. To create this campaign, the Yard agency collaborated with artistic director Tyle Ochs, stylist April Johnson and producer Joy Asbury.

We love the campaign. Very few brands manage to create such a recognisable, authentic image that's so true to their principles and their collections.
