08/18/09 - The first photos of Kate Moss are going on sale to raise funds, so that the photographer who discovered her can battle cancer. It's an opportunity to get your hands on a unique photo while supporting a good cause.
Photographer Corinne Day was one of the icons of female photography in the UK, but most people know her as the person who discovered Kate Moss.
Having battled cerebral cancer for the past ten years, the famous photographer has been unable to work this past year. The only thing that can save her life is a treatment in Arizona costing over £100,000. And now, Corinne's friends and acquaintances have launched a new project to raise money for her treatment.
They're selling a series of photos from the start of Kate Moss's career, some of them unpublished. They're some of Corinne's most beautiful photos and they cost £100.
The initiative is called Save the Day, and the aim is to put a new photo on sale each month, as a limited edition.
