Assouline have collaborated with CFDA to create an interesting new book that brings a new chic touch to the cuisine world. They've invited various designers to present their favourite recipes. Everything from Tory Burch's gazpacho to John Varvatos's soup...
The idea is to present a unique recipe book full of designers' recipes and creative illustrations based on their design talents.
The book was created by Lisa Marsh, with the collaboration of Martha Stewart.
It features everything from Isaac Mizrahi's spaghetti with truffles and mushrooms to Carolina Herrera's toupinel potatoes and John Varvatos's calaloo soup. There are recipes from over a hundred designers, with lots of details like where Rachel Comey found her reutzler recipe and how to cook yellowtail Derek Lam style.
