Karl Lagerfeld is still a top icon of the fashion world. We're used to seeing the German designer participating in projects outside the fashion industry. After collaborating recently in a children's film project, now he's turning to the world of toys...

Mr Lagerfeld has been made into a metallic toy by Tokidoki. This mini Karl is just 10 inches tall, and comes with his iconic black suit, his glasses and his perfect white hair.

The vinyl figure is to go on sale in Colette in October, and it'll then travel to Tokidoki stores in NYC, Milan and Los Angeles and to a few specialised stores.

The toy is selling at $190, and lots of people have already reserved their mini Karl. Oh, and the K by Karl Lagerfeld spring summer 2010 collection will feature a shirt printed with a mini Karl.
