10/20/09 - This tv hit is stylish and elegant and its sixties look is proving very popular, with Brooks Brothers instantly selling out their limited edition of an iconic suit inspired by Don Draper. It was created by the wardrobe designer for the tv series - Mr Draper's style is driving everyone wild.

Mad Men isn't just an international tv phenomenon. The characters' elegant style has brought back the sixties look with a bang. And their pure men's tailoring and colourful women's elegance have won lots of fans.

The Brooks Brothers brand have been collaborating this past while with Janie Bryant, the wardrobe designer for the tv series. And in tribute to the series, they recently released a suit created by Bryant, which was inspired by a suit worn by the character played by Jon Hamm - the elegant Don Draper. The suit, priced at $998, was an immediate sell-out.

After this resounding success, the tribute looks set to be extended to a collection of evening dresses, accessories and suits created for Brooks Brothers.

Neat post-war fashion has become a new style icon, and the elegance of the characters is being copied and borrowed by various designers and brands. The Mad Men style is here to stay...
