Frida Giannini, Gucci's creative director, knows the importance of heritage to a luxury brand. She also knows that brands need to make an impact and captivate the media and the market with unique creative ideas. Her new campaign for the brand's watch line has done exactly that.
Frida looked in the brand's archive and found vintage photos from the sixties that illustrate the brand's historical glamor. The shots feature model Veruschka and Peter Sellers.
We love how they've taken these photos and superimposed photos of this season's watches. It's a reference to the brand history and to the glamor of a bygone era. All in a day's work for Gucci artistic director Riccardo Ruini.
