This fall 2012 sees the publication of the book The Little Black Jacket: Chanel´s Classic Revisited. Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld collaborated with 109 celebrities to create the book.

The French brand's creative director took photos of 109 people involved in fashion, with styling by the former editor of Vogue Paris. Roitfeld and Lagerfeld have created 109 unique looks with one thing in common: the classic black tweed jacket that Coco Chanel created. The iconic piece, finished with the iconic Chanel chain inside, is an international symbol of elegance. This book features various black and white photos, and shows the versatility of the jacket, adapting it to every lifestyle imaginable.

To celebrate the book launch, Chanel are organizing exhibitions all over the world featuring the year's most long-awaited photos. For now, they're in New York, Tokyo and Taipei.
