The fall/winter 2012 Versace Atelier fashion show took place in Paris's Ritz Hotel, where the brand founder Gianni Versace used to celebrate his collections. This time, the location of the show brought a whole new meaning to Versace's glamorous Italian look.

Taking inspiration from tarot cards, Donatella Versace incorporated powerful symbols like the sun, the moon and the earth on her party dresses. Led by Lindsay Wixson, Versace's models were certainly eye-catching, in tight mini-dresses with crystal effects and long suits in light striped textiles. There were some short trenchcoats fitted to the waist for a striking look untypical of the Italian brand. Neutral tones like ivory, nude and pink gold color silk and plastic textiles are accompanied by the brand's iconic jellyfish and cocktail rings with yellow and emerald diamonds.

Jessica Alba, Christina Hendricks, M.I.A and Léa Michelle were just some of the celebrities who attended what was a significant show for Versace. Afterwards, the guests dined in the Ritz's L'Espadon restaurant and ended the night with a disco.
