In Paris, Givenchy filled their haute couture show will darkness and mystery. Riccardo Tisci demonstrated his passion for organza, frills, gauze and volumes.
The designer revamped his color palette while retaining an aura of mystery. We loved the laminated dungarees, which contrasted with the more elegant garments.
Erotica began to be a regular feature of the fashion world in the early seventies. Tisci took inspiration from this erotica revolution to create an eclectic collection of sensual nude tones and transparent materials.
It's interesting to see how the French brand have radically revamped their inspirations while retaining their quintessential glamor. This season they've added feathers, icons of prestige and luxury.
