Vanessa Seward, the former creative director of Azzaro, has designed a fall 2012 collection in collaboration with French brand A.P.C. The 15-piece line arrived in stores yesterday, and it retains the brand's utilitarian style, with an added touch of Sewardian glamor.
Inspired by a blend of feminine French chic and natural Parisian elegance, A.P.C. present this capsule collection, which is made of luxury textiles like silks, muslin, brocades, lame and lurex, in a combination of seventies disco silhouettes and the brand's iconically clean, simple lines. The colors of the French flag are joined by tones of gold and metallic blue.
Vanessa Seward's collection with A.P.C. arose from her friendship with the brand's artistic designer, Judith Touitou, and their similar ideas about fashion. The lookbook photos are the work of Ezra Petronio.
