This season La Perla bring us sophisticated elegance and touches of austerity and rigour. The brand's style seems to have been influenced by a new realism: a futuristic, three-dimensional look is reflected in the collection's sharp, minimalist lines, which also show that femininity can afford a touch of rationality.
The colour palette creates a contemporary, metropolitan look with grey tones ranging from pewter to ice, and natural, black, plum and cherry tones.
La Perla experiment with volumes that both cling to and shy away from the body, from fitted silhouettes to rounded and square shapes, with a particular emphasis on sleeves and very definite sharp lines. They also include references to haute couture from the sixties, lending a touch of modern charm to the collection.
