Designer Martyn Bal started out alongside Hedi Slimane in Dior and was responsible for Burberry's men's collections. This season he brings us an ad campaign on which he collaborated with musician Eriuk Hassle.
Hassle is a big name back home in Sweden, and this year he's jumping to the international stage with his album Pieces.
The ad campaign was photographed by Richard Stow in Knebworth House, a mansion that has seen performances by celebrities like the Rolling Stones.
Bal chose Hassle for his duality: his combination of a bad boy image and an emotionally deep one.
This spring, Bal brings us a capsule collection: a timeless line that's very romantic and flowing. There are leather jackets, light trenchcoats and details everywhere, as we've come to expect of Bal. This time he took inspiration from the rebellious spirit of films from the eighties.
