Stine Goya is known for her prints and the colors she uses in her collections, which are combined in fascinating, unusual ways. And the spring/summer 2012 season brings lots of sculptured silhouettes in bright colors and unique prints.
The Copenhagen designer, who graduated from the Saint Martins school in London, specializing in fashion design and print, tends to have prints as the main focus of her collections. This time, she brings us flowers, geometric shapes, feathers, uneven polka-dots and some garments printed with a photo that looks like a city in a palette of gray and pink tones.
Goya created the brand straight after she finished her studies in 2006, and since then she's focused on presenting sophisticated, fun collections with lots of character. This new spring/summer line includes a small collection of cute earrings and rings, with garments that experiment with asymmetry and black and white transparencies. In addition to her unique prints, Goya presents a series of total looks in blocks of color. Check out the lilac-fuschia pink she used to create eighties suits featuring a big v-neck and a triangular shape to accentuate the shoulders and waist.
