British designer Richard Sorger graduated from Middlesex Polytechnic School in 1991. He wanted to finish his fashion studies, and decided to move to Milan.
His first job in design was with Abe Hamilton in London. Having acquired this experience, he decided to become a teacher at the London College of Fashion.
In 2001, Richard created Sorger Kirchhoff with Benjamin Kirchhoff, a women's fashion brand that had lots of success in famous stores like Kokon To Zai in London, and celebs like Bjork and Kirsten Dunst were big fans.
In 2004, Richard decided to create his own brand, distributing in the most exquisite circles like Koh Samui in London, L´Eclaireur in París and Curve in L.A.
His clients include Jennifer Lopez, Cindy Crawford, Kate Beckinsale and Heidi Klum.
Richard has now managed to combine his design work with his teaching work at the Fashion Design Institute at the University of Middlesex (London), as well as editing books like The Fundamentals of Fashion, published by AVA Books.
