These past few years, Ollie Edwards has become one of the most successful British male models. He was born in London in 1982, but it was only in 2007 that he left motorcross to seriously embark on his fashion career.
2009 was certainly a definitive year for him: he was the face of ad campaigns for Polo Ralph Lauren, Emporio Armani, Lacoste, Benetton, Y-3, Ralph Lauren Purple Label and many more.
He's also featured on cover pages and editorials for magazines like GQ, l’Officiel, Vogue Italia, i-D and Numero Homme.
Edwards has started 2010 on a high note thanks to Armani, but what makes him different from the rest? The famous scar on his belly, from a tobogan accident at the age of four, has brought him lots of luck. Edwards has used it to his advantage, saying that it was caused by a samurai sword.
When he poses, he transmits a blend of humorous innocence and a striking wildness and expression, particularly given his passion for motorcross competitions.
His agencies are FM Agency in London, VNY in New York, d'Management in Milan, 2pm in Copenhagen and Kult Agency in Hamburg. For now we'll leave you to enjoy his online book...
