Before, it was Martin Margiela, and now the French Minister for Culture has asked designer Dries Van Noten to create the Palais Royal window display, which you can see between now and mid-December.
It's the most luxurious shop window in Paris, because of its location and the connotations attached to it. Being chosen to design it holds a certain status and confirms the state's support of a designer's international success.
Van Noten has chosen some of his emblematic pieces, which play on various colour ranges and shapes that really fit with the display. Going on a trip to Paris? Here's one sight you can't miss.
