A couple of years ago there was talk about a possible collaboration, and now the result is to be launched in September.
Givaduan perfumist Antoine Lie said that Guinness chose ingredients that meant something to her. That's why the fragrance has lots of woody notes, which remind her of the dreams and walls of the house where she was born.
Daphne chose the most exquisite ingredients, and left it to Antoine's perfumists to modernise classic essences based on those elements.
The top notes are orange, incense and saffron, while the heart notes are rose, Tunisian jasmine and iris. And the base notes are patchouli and vanilla.
The 4th of September will see the launch of the fragrance in London's Dover Street Market, and on the 18th it'll be launched in the rest of the world. Oh, and there are only 5000 bottles of this limited edition...
