Halston have confirmed that they're bringing back their legendary perfumes from the seventies. In collaboration with Elizabeth Arden, they've recreated Halton for Women (1975) and Halston Z-14 (1976). The perfume retains its main essence, but it's been adapted by Carlo Benaim in collaboration with Bernard Chant.
We love how Elsa Peretti has chrome-plated the bottle from the seventies, in a style reminiscent of the new Narciso Rodriguez perfume.
Benaim used the same ingredients as Halston, but added new notes that didn't exist back in the seventies. We're told that Marios Schwab, the brand's new designer, will include some reference to the perfume in his long-awaited first show. Metallic details perhaps? The fragrance has notes of wood, Sicilian bergamot, jasmine petals, sandalwood and amber.
Halston Z-14, the men's version, has prominent citrus notes, with middle notes of lavender. It's to be launched very soon...
