KARL LAGERFELD Paris Fashion Week SS09
| xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |
The spring summer 2009 collection that Karl Lagerfeld presented during Paris fashion week is based on how he himself would dress if he were a woman.
Karl's aim was to create a futuristic collection, with asymmetric cuts and lots of detail, like the figure-defining maxi belt corsets, the flowery prints and the imperial cuts.
The collection has a futuristic feel, but it's in a retro perspective, highlighting the image of strong women and playing with black and white contrasts.
And our favourites? The accessories, from the corset belts to the metallic tattoos.
